
Listen… if seafood prices got you crying but you STILL craving crab legs — this recipe right here is gonna save your life AND your wallet.
Ingredients
- 1–2 lbs snow crab legs
- 1 lb shrimp (raw or cooked)
- 1 pack smoked sausage
- 4 ears corn (cut in halves)
- 4–6 small potatoes
- 3 sticks butter
- 8 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 lemons
- Old Bay seasoning
- Cajun seasoning
- Paprika
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Optional: eggs
Step 1: Boil the Potatoes
Fill a large pot with water.
Add:
- potatoes
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- sliced lemon
Boil about 15 minutes because potatoes take the longest.
Step 2: Add Corn + Sausage
Add:
- corn
- sausage
Boil another 8–10 minutes.
Your kitchen should already be smelling GOOD. 😭🔥
Step 3: Add Crab Legs + Shrimp
Now add:
- crab legs
- shrimp
Cook:
- shrimp → about 3–5 minutes until pink
- crab legs → about 5 minutes to heat through
DO NOT overcook the shrimp or they get rubbery.
Step 4: Make the Garlic Butter Sauce 🧄🧈
In a pan melt:
- 3 sticks butter
- garlic
Then add:
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- squeeze of lemon
Simmer 2–3 minutes.
Step 5: Mix It ALL Together
Drain the seafood pot.
Pour EVERYTHING onto a tray, pan, or boil bag.
Pour the garlic butter sauce all over it.
Mix it up good.
Add extra seasoning if needed.
Step 6: Eat Like a Rich Auntie 🍋✨
Serve with:
- extra butter
- lemon wedges
- boiled eggs
- hot sauce
