Loaded Seafood Fries (Easy Cheesy Shrimp & Crab Fries)

Ingredients

Fries šŸŸ

  • 1 bag frozen crinkle fries or steak fries (24 oz)
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • ½ teaspoon Cajun seasoning

Seafood šŸ¤šŸ¦€

  • ½ lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • ½ lb lump crab meat
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Cheese Sauce šŸ§€

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • pinch of salt

Toppings

  • chopped parsley
  • green onions
  • extra Cajun seasoning
  • ranch drizzle (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Fries

Cook fries according to package directions.

Air fryer:

400°F for 15–20 minutes

Cook until crispy.

Sprinkle lightly with Cajun seasoning.


Step 2: Cook the Shrimp

In a skillet heat:

  • olive oil

Season shrimp with:

  • Cajun seasoning
  • garlic powder
  • paprika
  • black pepper

Cook:

  • 2–3 minutes per side

Remove from pan.


Step 3: Warm the Crab Meat

Lower heat.

Add crab meat to skillet for:

  • 1–2 minutes

Do NOT overmix or break it apart too much.


Step 4: Make the Cheese Sauce šŸ§€šŸ”„

In a saucepan melt:

  • butter

Whisk in flour.

Cook:

  • 1 minute

Slowly pour in milk while whisking.

Add:

  • cheddar cheese
  • garlic powder
  • paprika
  • salt

Stir until smooth and creamy.


Step 5: Assemble the Seafood Fries šŸŸšŸ”„

Place fries on serving tray.

Top with:

  • shrimp
  • crab meat
  • cheese sauce

Add:

  • parsley
  • green onions
  • ranch drizzle
  • extra Cajun seasoning

Serve HOT šŸ”„
