🦞🔥 Fire-Grilled Lobster Tails with Garlic Butter

Ingredients

Lobster Tails

  • 6 lobster tails (5–6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon Cajun seasoning

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Lobster

Using kitchen shears, cut down the top center of each shell.

Carefully pull the lobster meat upward and rest it on top of the shell.


Step 2: Season

Brush lobster meat with olive oil.

Season with:

  • paprika
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • salt
  • pepper


Step 3: Make Garlic Butter

In a bowl combine:

  • melted butter
  • garlic
  • lemon juice
  • parsley
  • paprika
  • Cajun seasoning

Mix well.

Reserve half for serving.


Step 4: Grill

Preheat grill to:

Medium-High Heat (400°F)

Place lobster tails meat side up.

Grill:

8–10 minutes

Brush with garlic butter every few minutes.

Lobster is done when meat is opaque and reaches:

140–145°F


Step 5: Finish

Remove from grill.

Brush generously with reserved garlic butter.

Garnish with parsley.


Step 6: Serve

Serve with:

  • garlic mashed potatoes
  • asparagus
  • roasted vegetables
  • rice pilaf
